Australia’s first sustainable hot dip galvanizing plant
Kingfield Galvanizing invested $20 million in developing the largest sustainable and most highly automated galvanizing plant. The facility has the lowest emissions of any HDG plant in the southern hemisphere. Automated processes, enclosed zones and recycling initiatives were designed to reduce waste, minimise emissions and achieve cost efficiencies at the facility in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
